New Lumiere jewellery collection launch

I’m so excited to finally be able to share my new Lumiere jewellery collection with you. It feels like this one has been a long time in the making so it’s great to finally be able to get it out there!

The inspiration for this collection came from the meteorite pieces in my earlier Supernova range. I experimented with wax carving some little polyhedra which I wanted to incorporate into different designs, alongside my trademark square section wire. I’ve called it Lumiere because of the way that the light reflects off the soft facets of the surface of the pieces giving them a real sparkle.

The key to this new collection is versatility. Like my other ranges, I want them to work with the other items in jewellery box so that when you invest in a piece you know that it’s going to look great alongside everything else you already own.

There are 12 gorgeous designs available, each with either a polished silver or gold plate finish. The small and large Luna & Nova earrings have a faceted charm which can be removed so that they can also be worn as a plain hoop. The necklaces come on a variety of chain types and lengths which makes them ideal for layering.

I think my stand out favourites from the whole collection are the small Luna hoops (above), the Apollo statement earrings (below, which definitely are not for the faint hearted) and the Rhea pendant (layered with the Meteorite necklace in the second photo) which feels like a real forever piece.

I’ve become more conscious about the materials that I use in my work and so I’m also really proud to say that the entire collection is made from recycled wire and cast recycled silver pieces. Recycled silver is a100% recycled alternative to traditional silver, made using scrap jewellery and silver from the medical, electronics and giftware industries. It has the same properties as Sterling silver, but because it has none of the associated impacts from the mining process, it is a much more environmentally friendly alternative.

I worked with Hannah Miles and Naomi Lake (who kindly doubled up as both hair & make up artist and model!) to create the stunning images that I’ve shared here and over in my Lookbook. I’m really delighted with the way that these have turned out. It’s tricky when you have an idea in your head and you’re not sure if you’ve communicated it adequately or if it will translate into the finished photos….but I couldn’t be more pleased with how they look.

The new collection will be available online and via selected stockists including The Biscuit Factory, VK Gallery and Anne Morgan Jewellery. If you want to check out the full range online, you can see it here. It's been a bit of a labour of love, but I'm so happy with the results. I’d love to know what you think too!
